About the Role:

CCR is seeking a dynamic Manager of Sales Engineering this candidate's primary task will be to support the North American sales team with the delivery of customer application support, preparation and delivery of quotations based on customer needs. 

The role will involve the selection of customer equipment from customer specifications and requirements, selection of gas cooler and evaporators and associated components, energy and lifecycle calculations, dealing with engineering drawings and design concepts, handling tender documentation and delivering standardization across the business and driving customer satisfaction, whilst also at times joining calls virtually and occasionally in person to ensure early-stage customer satisfaction.

As a Pre-Sales Technical Application and Quotation Manager, you will also be an integral player within the North American CO2 refrigeration sales team, and a can do attitude is required as we develop and drive growth within the North American market with leading CO2 technologies. The chosen candidate will be encouraged to develop a collaborative working mentality and find solutions for our customers and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • High levels of communication with colleagues across North America and Europe
  • Assist and support sales team and their customers with the selection of equipment for their projects
  • Creation and development of offers and response to tenders
  • Calculation of energy and lifecycle analysis to support sales and specification of Carrier solutions
  • Develop and follow a standardized process to bring efficiencies and consistencies, therefore increasing customer satisfaction
  • Be a point of contact for customers and the right hand to the external sales organization
  • Proactive and positive approach to the finding solutions
  • Over time build, manage and train a team of Pre-Sales Technical and Quotation Engineers to support growth and entry into new markets

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in systems or design engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • HVAC, CO2, or construction industry experience.
  • Experience in Engineering and Customer Sales
  • Experience in converting customer requirements to product 
  • Strong analytical, strategical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Business, financial and technology background and acumen
  • Focus on results and outcomes
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders and influencing skills to gain alignment and support
  • Teamwork
  • Visionary, entrepreneurial mindset, passion for innovation and drive to create business impact
  • Understanding of how new technologies can shape companies, innovate and deliver growth

$112,828 - $157,959 Annually
