About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven HVAC Solutions Manager Industry to accelerate the growth of our Commercial HVAC business across Wallonia.

In this role, your primary focus is to act as the technical expert for Carrier and CIAT and Viessmann HVAC solutions within complex pharmaceutical, industrial and critical environment projects.

Leveraging your deep knowledge of chilled water systems, heat pumps, air handling solutions, ventilation technologies and hydronic applications, you will work closely with consultants, end users, contractors and internal stakeholders to develop high-performance, energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

You will be involved from the earliest project phases, providing technical guidance, influencing system design choices and supporting customers in selecting the most suitable HVAC technologies for demanding applications where reliability, performance and sustainability are critical.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will bridge the gap between customer requirements, engineering specifications and our CommercialHVAC portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical reference for Carrier and CIAT and Viessmann Commercial HVAC solutions within the Industry sectors.
• Support consultants, engineering firms, contractors and end users in the selection, design and application of HVAC systems.
• Provide expert guidance on chillers, heat pumps, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), hydronic systems and ventilation applications.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate operational, regulatory and sustainability objectives into technical HVAC solutions.
• Participate in project specification activities and support engineering consultants in developing optimal system concepts.
• Advise customers on decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency improvements, heat recovery solutions and heat pump applications.
• Contribute to the development of technical solutions for complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and industrial projects.
• Support project qualification, solution configuration and technical proposal development in collaboration with sales engineers and application specialists.
• Work closely with manufacturing sites, product management teams and technical support functions to ensure alignment between customer needs and available technologies.
• Monitor market developments, technological innovations and regulatory trends affecting HVAC applications within Healthcare and Industry.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and product training sessions to customers and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical partner throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and specification through implementation and commissioning support.

Your Mission

The purpose of this role is to strengthen Carrier's position in Wallonia area as a leading Commercial HVAC partner within the Industry markets by:

• Delivering high-level technical expertise and application support.
• Supporting the design and specification of energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
• Helping customers navigate increasingly complex requirements related to sustainability, indoor air quality and process-critical environments.
• Leveraging deep HVAC system knowledge to ensure Carrier and CIAT and Viessmann technologies are effectively integrated into major projects.
• Building long-term technical partnerships with consultants, end users and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Energy Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Applied HVAC engineering, application engineering, technical consulting or solution development.
• Proven experience working on complex HVAC projects in healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with HVAC system design, specification development and technical project support.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems, including:

• Chillers
• Heat pumps
• Air handling units (AHUs)
• Fan coil units (FCUs)
• Ventilation systems
• Hydronic applications
• Heat recovery systems
• Building energy solutions
• Boilers would be nice to have

Sector Expertise

Experience within one or more of the following sectors:

• Pharmaceutical
• Biotechnology
• Industrial Manufacturing
• Data Centers
• Process Industry
• Large Commercial & Institutional Buildings

Languages & Tools

• Fluent in French and English.
• Dutch is considered a strong asset.
• Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Wallonia.
