Location: Telford, on site

About the role

The role plays a key part in driving business growth by proactively engaging with new and existing B2B customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position supports lead generation, opportunity development, and ongoing account activity while acting as a central link between sales, marketing, operations, and customers.

A core focus of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including installers, contractors, distributors, and wholesalers, acting as a trusted point of contact and identifying opportunities to support sales growth and long-term partnerships.

As a Sales Development Representative you'll be responsible for:

  • External Sales Team: Daily collaboration for lead and opportunity handover or follow up, regional knowledge, information exchange, and support.

  • Marketing Team: Collaboration on lead generation campaigns, marketing campaigns, identified opportunities from customer events

  • Technical Support/After-Sales: For complex product queries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

  • Logistics/Operations: For order tracking, deliveries, and stock availability.

  • Finance/Accounts: For invoicing and credit control queries.

To be successful in the role, you should:

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possess previous experience in business development and cold calling (B2B).

  • Be resilient, adaptable, with attention to details.

  • Learn quickly and understand technical product information related to heating and cooling systems to support cross- and up-selling.

  • Have good command of computer / MS Office.

  • Collaborate effectively and support the objectives of the external sales team.

  • Work independently, take initiative, and manage your own workload efficiently.

  • Speak fluent English.
