Chubb Fire are currently looking for a Portables Service Technician to join our team in South West Victoria.   We are an Industry leading Fire Protection Company with a strong existing Commercial, Industrial and Government client base

The Portables Service Technician will be responsible for covering South West Victoria and can based from Portland, Warrnambool Hamilton or Horsham areas over to Ballarat but run from our Geelong office in the East.  You will be required to service and maintaining fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, fire doors and access and egress paths and other related products on our customers sites.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Servicing portable fire equipment on our customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards

• Providing excellent Customer service and advice to our clients on site.

• Using power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, fire doors and access and egress paths and blankets

• Using FieldService mobile phone application to plan and organize your schedule #Chubb

Who we are looking for;

• A current Drivers License

• A current construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one)

• Cert 2 in Fire Equipment Inspection / Testing or similar

• Some experience in a similar role where you are responsible for basic maintenance and / or mobile service delivery is desirable

• An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.

• Good time management and organizational skills

• The ability to work away from home when required.
