Job Description:

Carrier Commercial Service is currently accepting applications for a Journeyman (2 positions) to work with the GTA and Southwestern Ontario Region (Stoney Creek) Service Team to support the light and heavy applied HVAC service market segments.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive, professional customer relations.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to work with Chillers and other HVAC and Refrigeration equipment to providing exceptional proactive maintenance and repair services.
• Promote branch work order sales
• Troubleshoot and solve equipment problems; Develop and implement solutions to prevent future occurrence
• Confident identifying, estimating, and quoting repair and upgrade solutions to extend equipment life and save energy.
• Comply and re-enforce Environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

Educational /Technical Requirements

• Must be a member of Union Local 787
• Must be a certified Journeyperson
• Must hold Gas Fitter 1 certificate and have sound working knowledge of HVAC system design and building maintenance
• Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of chiller maintenance and overhaul experience
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with various software tools and laptop (MS Office, Outlook, Excel) and handheld devices (iPhone)

• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
