About This Role

The Carrier Energy Marketing Leader will develop and execute marketing strategies, PR campaigns, and Utility customer initiatives to position Carrier Energy as a leader in HVAC and energy management solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will drive market adoption and build a strong brand that resonates with both utilities and end-users customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Carrier Energy’s business objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct competitive assessments to refresh market positioning and identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Define product and offering naming and branding to establish a unique market identity in close collaboration with Carrier Corporate and Business Units.
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance Carrier Energy’s public profile and promote pilot programs.
  • Build relationships with media, industry influencers, and stakeholders to amplify brand messaging.
  • Craft and disseminate press releases, thought leadership pieces, and other communications materials.
  • Identify and represent Carrier Energy at key industry events, such as tradeshows, to showcase solutions and strengthen brand recognition.
  • Launch market-specific campaigns to support pilot deployments and build momentum for full-scale launches.
  • Design and roll out digital marketing efforts, including email, social media, and website initiatives.
  • Measure campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market launch plans, including PR strategies, to support product introductions and pilot programs.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies, providing tailored marketing materials to drive customer adoption.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of market entry initiatives.
  • Tailor marketing and PR strategies for light commercial and C&I applications.
  • Develop scalable customer engagement frameworks to support long-term growth.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Problems faced are complex and require extensive investigation / analysis
  • Communicates with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization; conducts briefings with senior leaders in and outside of job function

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, or customer engagement
  • 3+ years of experience launching successful marketing and public relations campaigns for innovative solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, PR, or customer engagement, preferably within the energy and utilities sector.
  • Experience with Residential/Commercial demand site management programs, Battery Storage, Utility Incentives for energy efficient air condition is highly preferred
  • Strong expertise in branding, messaging, and campaign management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Data-driven approach to evaluating marketing performance and customer insights.
  • Experience with demand response programs, VPPs, or distributed energy resources (DER).
  • Familiarity with HVAC and battery technologies or related energy management solutions.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity
  • Ability to lead and work in cross-functional environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent communicator who possesses a combination of business acumen, industry experience, technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with program management and a proven record as an effective leader / influencer is a plus.
